Randy Orton: The New Face of Smackdown

So as you all know that Randy Orton has been drafted to Friday Night Smackdown. Do you know what I'm thinking?? The WWE clearly knows that there's absolutely no wrestler to be the big face of Smackdown. Previously, the WWE wanted Edge to be the World Heavyweight Champion for some time to come, but Edge surprisingly was forced to retire. Therefore, Smackdown really needs someone to upgrade Smackdown., someone who can bring fan up to their feet, someone who can bring excitement and surprise to fan. That someone is non other than Randy Orton. I don't think that Christian is good enough to be the face of SD (I'm sorry to say this), as his in-ring performance is not exciting compared to the Viper Randy Orton. This is certainly a very smart move. The WWE is all about superstars who are larger than life, who are amazing with the mic skill and in-ring performance. I think the Viper will be champion for some months before anyone can stand up and replace him when that certain superstar has proved himself.

He will be the World Heavyweight Champion very very soon (in one month the most).

Professional Wrestling

I'm 19 and I started to love wrestling since 1997.. At that time, i didn't know what is WCW and WWF is, bectause I didn't have proper wrestling show at my home country. If you wanna talk abt the reasons and best memories, there are more than 100 and you can talk all day.

What this article remind me is that WWE has lost many talents and it's hard to bring all the new generation to be as talented at both mic skill and in-ring performance, because if anyone who has these qualities, they would be a superstar rather than being a wrestler. Wrestling is all about passion and commitment. Hope WWE will find some fresh talents who can make it big.. Let's hope 4 the best..

Btw, the superstar that has the best mic skill and catchphrase, in my opinion, is non other than the most electrifying man of sport entertainment "The Rock"

So why?? A very popular culture of America is on the downhill slope? We used to hear people talking about what had happened at schools when we met our friends. Wrestling was just popular at that day. But now why?? Well, there are many reasons that contributed to the near-demise of WWE. 1. The increasing forms of entertainment: Back in the 1990s, people would sit in front of tv to watch entertainment show and wrestling is on the top of the list. But now.... there are many forms of entertainment available esp the revolution of the computer and the epoch of internet. We have many entertaining games to play rather than wasting time to watch wrestling show which is becoming boring. (Can you imagine a wrestling show RAW has over 700 episodes??) Yes, with many episodes like that, people will become bored. Games are more entertaining. Plus, the inception of the internet era and social network. People would spend the whole day sitting in front of the PC to surf on the net or tweeting or facebooking. When people become addicted to this new and cool type of entertainment, wrestling will be neglected. 2. The lack of big name superstars: Wrestling is all about big name superstars who are larger than life. They would bring people up to their feet, anticipating for that finishing move to come, waiting for their favorite face character to get his revenge over that bad guy. Back to the late 1990s, WWE (or WWF) had big name superstars such as The Rock, Stone Cold, Shawn Michael, Triple H, Kurt Angle and so on. These superstars has become wearied and slow. They do not look powerful and believable like before. Some have left the WWE. If they hadn't left the WWE, the WWE would not lost many supporter. Didn't the WWE think about the future by promoting young generation? YES, the WWE did, but those new superstars has left the WWE (because of many reasons that I haven't known yet and some have passed away), namely Brock Lensnar, Batista, Mr. Kennedy, MVP, Eddie Gurerro, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy. These are the superstar that would make it big in the future, but they are now gone. 3. The lackluster performance from the new superstar: The move in the ring lack of power and dynamic. They become slow. This will bore the fans for sure.

The Rock to wrestle at Survivor Serie 2011

The long-going saga about the WWE wanting the Rock to wrestle at Survivor Serie is no more of a rumor. The WWE has confirmed that the Rock will WRESTLE at Survivor Series, but not against John Cena. The Rock is going to team up with Cena. The Rock tweeted that he would not wait til Wrestle Mania, he will wrestle at SS and electrify MSG Arena. Fans are trying to speculate what team the Rock and Cena is going to face. Will it be Triple H or CM Punk? SS 2011 is still 2 months to go and I hope the WWE will not screw up this storyline or Wrestle Mania 28 at Miami will not captivate the world.

This news will definitely increase the buy rate of this SS PPV which had done poorly in the last few years.

Marriage or Divorce

Married or not… you should read this.
Marriage.

“When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife’s divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office…. jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind…I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won’t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead. My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push through with the divorce.— At least, in the eyes of our son—- I’m a loving husband….

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves.

So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don’t share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage. Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”

I saw this on the internet.. I thought I would share this on tumblr to my followers and randoms.

Will WM 28 generate more than 1 million buys?

Last year Wrestle Mania (WM 27) was a major success for the WWE, one thing Vince McMahon could boast about his company. Wrestle Mania is known as the Show of Shows, the grandest stage of them all. Wrestle Mania to the WWE is what the Superbowl is to NFL. Some pay-per-view of the WWE can disappoint, but one thing we are certain is that Wrestle Mania will always deliver. With 1,120,000 buys, WM 27 is the 2nd most purchased WWE PPV events second only to 2007 WrestleMania 23 which grosses 1,250,000 buys. Personally, the phenomenal number of the number of buy can be explained by 3 important reasons. Firstly, the Rock hosted WM 26. It was the appearance of the Rock for the first time in over 7 years. His appearance must have drawn in a large number of old audience and some mainstream viewers (who may not be wrestling fans) who want to see Dwayne The Rock Johnson in a WWE event. Secondly, credit was given to Snooki who wrestled in a mixed tag team match. Thirdly, the involvement of Stone Cold Steve Austin and other WWE superstars must be a factor for sure. WrestleMania 28 is just around the corner and the match cards is shaping to be the best and most epic WrestleMania of all time with the main event of The Rock vs John Cena; CM Punk vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship, Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship; and if you think of WrestleMania, one man will definitely comes to your mind – The Undertaker and he will wrestle Triple H in the most brutal match in the WWE: HELL IN CELL. WM 28 looks like it will be a phenomenal PPV. However, having said that, I still feel doubt that whether WM 28 will surpass 1 million buy, let alone the most purchased WWE PPV. Two reasons are behind my doubt.

The first reason is that the Rock appears to be not the same rating drawer like he was last year. Last year WM 27 people were excited to see their Attitude Era hero came back for the first time in 7 years. People were hyped to see what the Rock would do. However, the Rock does not seem to be the same larger-than-life man. His return to the ring and team up with John Cena at Survivor Serie 2011 was a disappointment from the business point of view. Survivor Serie drew about 300.000 buys. With the PPV hyped with the Rock first ever in-ring action, the buy rate did not significantly increase. Recent Raw episode featuring the Rock and Cena did not boost the rating dramatically. Last week’s episode only gained 3.2 rating which was a worry for the WWE. The rating should be at 3.9 or slightly over 4. Are people still interested in the Rock coming back or people have lose interest in the product because of the 1 year feud which the heat is over. I am really skeptical about this.

The second reason is the lack of celebrity for WM 28. WWE usually invites celebrity to the Grandest Stage of them all with the likes of Floyd Money Mayweather, Sumo Wrestler Akebono, Donald Trump, Snooki and so on. However, the big name celebrity is yet to be released. We are not certain whether WM 28 will feature some mainstream celebrity.

WWE loses its rating, Raw and Smackdown rating are going down. WHY??

3. The lackluster performance from the new superstar: The move in the ring lack of power and dynamic. They become slow. This will bore the fans for sure.

When Cena attitude adjustment the Rock, that is the John Cena I want to see and miss

At first, I really hated John Cena because he was a heel and feud with the Undertaker by winning matches with cheap shot. Then Cena changed face. I really love the way he dressed, talked, wrestled. Although he sometimes cheated to win, i still think it's great to see. He's the character that is similar to the late Eddie Guerero. But somehow after he won the WWE Championship from JBL, he began to change his character. I found that t Cena is not entertaining as he used to be. (There's more i wanna write, but i'm getting sleepy. I'll write more)

But when Cena hit an attitude adjustment when the Rock did not knew that Cena was behind him, i saw that something that I haven't seen in him for a very long time..

American Idol 10 Top 5 Result - Jacob Lusk eliminated

The result for the top 5 of American Idol 10 has released. These 5 guys are absolutely gifted from birth. They truly have what it makes to be the next American Idol. However, I have to admit that Jacob Lusk has had the worst run on American Idol 10 for 4 or 5 weeks. His singing has become something that is not special anymore. He seems to have not improve in his singing ability. What is more, the way he dress is just so painful to look. He always went up the stage with his suit. (Suit is painfully boring if you wear it every week IMO). The guy who try to produce and edit his song also admitted that some of his suit did not work at all. I think that the elimination of Jacob is fair and America got it very right. I can't wait to witness who is the next American Idol. My pick for this year is non other than James Durban. This guy is more than just a rock singer. Let's see who will win it.

8 money lessons for new college grads

Your first goal should be finding a good job as quickly as possible
If the job market proves really tepid, don't rule out unpaid internships that provide valuable experience and contacts that can boost your job opportunities later.
After "Pomp and Circumstance," commencement speeches, congratulations, champagne and celebrations, comes life. College grads who get off to a good start can build solid foundations for their financial futures.
Given that, the best present for any recent grad is— surprise — a little more education. But not the kind found in a textbook.
Here's a crash course in Money 101.

Lesson 1: Make money

Work hard at getting the best "first job" you can to help you meet your needs, whether they be financial, career aspirations or personal interests, advises Stacie Berdan, author of "Get Ahead By Going Abroad."
Learn the art of networking. Professors, deans and guidance counselors are all potential sources of referrals, job opportunities and references. "A good referral or reference can be the difference between being hired and remaining another resume on the stack," says Winnie Sun, founding partner of Sun Group Wealth Partners.
Be flexible. The job market, while better, is still less than healthy. You may not get your dream job, but any paycheck beats zero income.
If the market proves really tepid, don't rule out unpaid internships that provide valuable experience and contacts that can boost your job opportunities later. "Don't sit around and do nothing. Write a blog or start a YouTube channel, volunteer in your field, or use your expertise to help friends and family," says John Strelecky, author of "How To Be Rich and Happy."
Clean up your electronic footprint. "It's not cute for a future employer to find you guzzling beer or flashing your funny business on your Facebook wall," says Ken Kamen, president of Mercadien Asset Management. "More and more employers are checking online, so make sure that your social media sites would make your grandmother proud to show her friends."
2. Pay yourself first

Start saving immediately. Ideally, shoot to save 10 percent to 15 percent of what you earn, but even investing a small amount, say $25 a week, can have tremendous long-term impact, especially when you're in your 20s and your money has decades to reap the rewards of compounding.
Make it easy on yourself. Have money automatically taken from your paycheck and deposited directly into savings.

3. Throw whimsy out the window

You're a grownup now. The days of "winging it" are over. Develop a plan for your spending early on. Determine how much you will need for rent, groceries, and other expenses. "Once you begin receiving a paycheck, it will likely be more money than you've ever had, but it can be very easy to quickly wind up with the cash slipping away without a clear idea of where it has gone," says Bill Druliner, a counselor with GreenPath Debt Solutions.
Track expenses and if you find yourself blowing your budget, make adjustments immediately in your spending.
4. Buy strategically

You know all about Groupon, but the deals don't start and end there. Clipping coupons isn't just for little old ladies. Invest time online and off, to get the best deals on everything from groceries, household items to entertainment.
Study up. You'll also need to investigate things you never thought much about before such as health insurance. Because you're young and relatively healthy, it might be relatively inexpensive to purchase health insurance yourself. With health care reform, reminds Carrie McLean, an insurance specialist with eHealthInsurance.com, you can retain coverage under your parents' health insurance policy until you're 26. However, "Break out the calculator. Find out how much it costs your parents to keep you on their policy and compare that with quotes from health insurance companies in your area to see if it makes more sense to buy coverage on your own," says McLean. You may also get coverage through your employer.
5. Be patient

Forget what it was like to have the Bank of Mom and Dad. Learn to wait for what you need.
Instant gratification feels good, but long-term is detrimental to your financial health. "It's an expensive affliction," says Darrell Canby, president of Canby Financial Advisors.
Live within your means. "Do not buy anything unless you have the cash to pay for it in the bank," says Katherine Liola, an Ameriprise financial advisor. Furthermore, she says, "Do not buy a car or any large purchase that will prevent you from saving and achieving your goals." A 3-year-old car with low mileage is a better deal than buying new, notes Bill Martin, a certified financial planner with MassMutual.
Consider delaying getting your own apartment, and instead stay with old roommates or at home. Then, bank all the money you would have spent flying solo. You might even put off grad school to give yourself time to build work experience and financial girth.
6. Respect debt

You once thought SAT scores were important. Now, there's a new number you should hold sacred: your credit score.
While a FICO score in the 700 to 850 range wouldn't have gotten you into an Ivy League school, creditors love those numbers. They say you're fiscally responsible.
Don't get in the habit of whipping out credit cards. If you won't be able to pay the balance in full when the bill arrives, don't charge, because that's probably your best clue that you can't really afford the purchase. And when it comes to credit cards — as with everything else — shop for the best deal. You can start your research with the latest report on the best credit cards for new college grads from CardRatings.com.

Treat your student loans seriously. That $20,000 on average that students have in student loans must be paid back. Honor that commitment and if you don't have a job lined up, contact your student loan provider immediately to ask for a six-month deferment. Most lenders will do this right after you graduate without much difficulty.
"The last thing you want is to start getting negative marks on your credit right away for not making student loan payments on time," Druliner says.
Pull a free credit report from annualcreditreport.com, review it, and make sure you are aware of all of your existing creditors. Know too, that a poor credit report might lead potential employers to take a pass on hiring you.

7. Invest for retirement

You've barely finished displaying your shiny new diploma, so retirement may not be at the top of mind — but it should be.
"The best time to start planning for retirement is the day you start working," says Canby. If a 21-year-old invests just $2,000 a year for 10 years, at 10 percent interest by age 65, that sum of money would grow to $895,761, Canby says.
Participate in your employer-sponsored retirement plan as soon as you are eligible. Contribute at least enough to qualify for the full amount of the employer's match if it offers one.
8. Know what counts most

You're still somewhat wet behind the ears, no one expects you to have everything figured out, but you should have a game plan of sorts. "You have to know your values and goals so that you can make decisions in all aspects of your life that are aligned with your goals," Liola says. "This applies to the type of jobs you apply for, to how you spend your money," she adds.
Think short, medium and long-term goals. Each goal should be specific, with activities listed for each of your goals.
You worked hard to earn your degree. Work just as hard on managing your money and the smart choices made today will pay off for years to come.

Cena isn't fired... Vince is... WHAT????

OMG!!! What's going on in the WWE as of late? Firstly, CM Punk left the WWE with the WWE Championship. On Monday Night Raw, as we were expecting the Chairman of the WWE Vince McMahon to fire Cena, Triple H, his son-in-law, interrupted him and informed him that the Board of Direction has fired Mr. McMahon that morning. The one who is going to replace is....... Triple H.

This incident looks quite real, isn't it? But it was just part of the storyline. However, it is not just an ordinary storyline. It is a storyline that shock the WWE Universe. As we were focusing on Cena & Punk, suddenly Triple H is also involve in this storyline. How awesome is that??? The WWE has shocked us again. First by having CM Punk winning the WWE Championship and ran away from defend the belt against Alberto Del Rio. What is more intriguing is Triple also takes part in it. Moreover, this storyline can have many possibility. It can also turn Summer Slam into an epic PPV. This is a storyline that will generate tons of money.. This is perhaps by far the best storyline since the Invasion (Alliance vs WWE)

Back to Vince, he is a genius. He is the best in the world in this business: Professional Wrestling. He is a kind of person that we love to hate. Look at how many things he has sacrificed for this business? He got spray buy beer car, humiliated several times by Stone Cold & The Rock, kissed Rikishi big ass, beaten so bad in Hell in a Cell, shave his head at Wrestle Mania, kicked in the head by Randy Orton.

I can guarantee you and speak with confidence that no owner of a company has sacrifice as Vince Kennedy McMahon has. Every time he takes part in a storyline, he brings heat, controversy, excitement. His entrance music strike fear into our mind.. "No chance.. No chance in hell." I can't wait to see what is going to happen next. "Thank you, Vince!!"

After winning the WWE Championship, what's next for CM Punk ?

OMG!!! What can I say for this incredible, unbelievable, unpredictable Money in the Bank 2011 PPV. The boiling point and the hottest thing about the WWE right now is CM Punk defeating John Cena, winning the WWE Championship. CM Punk also had mentioned he would left the WWE with the WWE Championship. So what's next for CM Punk?? How about Cena? The match stipulated that if he lose, he'll be fired?

I believe right from the start of this feud between Cena and Punk to be a storyline from the WWE. However, have you ever seen a feud that is so real as this one?? It makes everyone confused whether it is just a storyline or real?? I have come up with some possible scenario for this storyline to continue.

1. Punk will come back to Raw: I sincerely believe that this is just a storyline. Punk will never leave this company. He will be back and it is just a matter of time. The WWE will excite us by showing that CM Punk certainly left the company and disgraced the title. Well, it might lead to a brand new WWE Championship belt, because the history shows that the WWE or WWF has been re-design for many time already.

2. Cena would be absent from Raw for a while: Yes, this time John Cena will be fired from the WWE (kayfabe), but mark my word he will be back and again it is just a matter of time. It has been rumored that Cena has an injury needed to be healed. So he will be back when he is 100% fit and of course before Wrestle Mania 28 when he is booked to face The Rock. Cena is the FACE of the WWE. He can generate millions of dollars and great feud. Mr. McMahon would be insane to fire John Cena. He will return.

3. It might lead to Punk-McMahon Feud or McMahon-Cena Feud: There are many possibilities to continue this storyline. I am more than sure that Mr. McMahon will involve in this feud. This feud can last until 2012. Nevertheless, I am not sure will Mr. McMahon feud with Punk or Cena. This is what is great about Professional Wrestling. You will never guess what is going to happen next. This would be best feud ever in the history of this business.

4. Cena will turn heel (maybe after Wrestle Mania): Well, from my perspective, Cena will team with Mr. McMahon and turn heel. He would blame all the fan for his character change, claiming that he gave every things he has to all the fans, but they are the one that boo him in every stadium They would transform into the most powerful clique ever. However, I think he will turn heel after Wrestle Mania when he'll have wrestled with The Rock. He will remain as a face until Wrestle Mania.

5. Cena will be the WWE Champion again before Wrestle Mania 28: I am still confident that the match between Cena and The Rock will be for the WWE Champion, which means Cena will beat CM Punk or Del Rio one day.

6. Punk will lose the title to Alberto Del Rio: YES, I can say that again. Del Rio will beat the hell out of CM Punk and capture the WWE Champion. Why? Look at the contract inside his Money in the Bank case. It states that he can have a match for the WWE title anywhere, anytime, anyplace he like, which means Del Rio will beat CM Punk easily even though he is no longer a WWE Superstar.

7. Vince will beg for Cena's return to help him and his company: I'm not sure about this idea, but I think that Vince will beg Cena to help him wrestle against CM Punk to take back the WWE Championship to his company. Cena's character will be altered into a funny side just like Austin in the Invasion storyline, which he did something funny to cheer Vince.

To sum up, 2 thumbs up to the WWE Creative Team for such an amazing storyline... I will continue to watch every episode of Raw and never miss a show. hahah

With the RED HOT CM Punk's angle, why Raw's rating is still down?

The WWE lately comes up with probably the best storyline of the decade, that is, CM Punk leaving the Money in the Bank PPV with the WWE title and says bye bye to the WWE because his contract expires. Later, the other edition of Monday Night Raw gives us a tournament to determine the new WWE Champion which Rey Mysterio won after beating The Miz. However, Triple H, the new COO, forces the newly crown WWE Champion Rey to defend the title against John Cena in which Cena beat Rey for the WWE Champion. Later, it is revealed that CM Punk has already re-signed his contract which leaves us TWO WWE champions: CM Punk, John Cena. This storyline has caught many fans' attention because we were perplexed whether CM Punk leaving is real or unreal. It makes wrestling become cool again.

However, one interesting point also occur. Why does the rating not increase? Raw still receive a disappointing 3.3 or 3.4 rating.

One explanation is that it is summertime and people are on holiday.

Second, on Monday night, Raw has to compete against ESPN NFL.

Third, blame it to the lack of creativity in the midcard division. Besides CM Punk, John Cena, what are other superstar that grab your interest not to switch channel? Well, not so many right? The tag team and divas division are in a poor shape as ever, poor performance, boring storyline. Do you think the Attitude Era (1998-2001) would be successful with only Stone Cold, The Rock? Of course no. We had incredible superstars such as Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Kane. The tag team division consisted of the Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz, Edge & Christian, which wow us week in and week out with their exciting tag team match. Back to this current era, when you a tag team match, you can't help but changing the channel. Why?? Because it's downright boring. There is nothing interesting to watch. You would switch to other channels to see what other channel shows and switch back for the main event or just watch the 15minute video in youtube.

With only John Cena and CM Punk, there is no way in hell that the old glory day is back. The WWE needs to rebuild its midcard, Tag Team division, Divas division to captivate the fan, prevent them from switching channel. Furthermore, refreshing the product, building more stars, creating more intriguing storyline, perhaps bringing back some old star are some of the works the WWE has to do. It has a lot of things to do because the WWE has long forgotten about these parts which it only finds itself to blame. We, as a fan, are craving for more interesting storyline and the product.

A day of agony and euphoria

Never have I had any day like on Thursday, 6 August 2011. First, on this Thursday's morning I learned that I would not be able to write a thesis for my year 4 Bachelor degree in Economics. I was very disappointed because I always look forward to writing a thesis. In my mind I was thinking that it was ok, because I should have something to cheer for and it is the certificate of excellence for the top 3 outstanding students.

Then came the afternoon in which Orientation Day will be held. I expected that I would at least get the 3rd outstanding position. If I don't, I will be the saddest person on this planet. The moment that I have been waiting for has arrived. This is it! It is time to reveal the outstanding students for the afternoon shift of Year 3. Lecturer Khan Bophan firstly announce the 3rd position. At that moment, I was kind of anticipating my name to be called out because I did have a good score for year 3. To my surprise, the name called out wasn't my name. Fear immediately strike into the inner core of me. I was totally out of words to say. I was thinking to myself "Maybe I couldn't do it. Bad luck is with me." My heart started to beat really fast; I started to have butterflies in my stomach. The next position is to be called out. I said to myself "Please!!! Let it be me... Please!!". The lecturer announced that there were 2 number 1 outstanding. One of the 2 names is mine.. My mind was totally filled with joy. I could not believe this. My hard work has finally paid off. I have made myself especially my parents proud.

I am resolved to keep up my hard work for year 4 both at RULE and IFL..

Why do women cry???

“Why are you crying?”, a young boy asked his Mom.

“Because I’m a woman,” she told him. “I don’t understand,” he said.

His Mom just hugged him and said, “And you never will, but that’s O.K.”… Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does Mom seem to cry for no reason?”. “All women cry for no reason,” was all his Dad could say… The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God and when God got back to him, he asked “God, why do women cry so easily?”

GOD answered…

When I made woman, I decided she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet, made her arms gentle enough to give comfort…I gave her the inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times will come even from her own children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going and take care of her family and friends, even when everyone else gives up, through sickness and fatigue without complaining…I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances. Even when her child has hurt her badly…

She has the very special power to make a child’s boo-boo feel better and to quell a teenager’s anxieties and fears…I gave her strength to care for her husband, despite faults and I fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart…I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

For all of this hard work, I also gave her a tear to shed. It is hers to use whenever needed and it is her only weakness.

When you see her cry, tell her how much you love her, and all she does for everyone, and even though she may still cry, you will have made her heart feel good. ♥

Taking a break and review

Having been studying English for almost 13 years, I still have trouble with fluency, let alone accuracy. I do not know whether it is about my lack of knowledge and idea or my inability to form sentences. I think it is because the lack of practice in speaking English. I rarely practice speaking English with my friends which may result in my inability to speak fluently. This weakness has adversely affected my academic performance. I never earn a top score when it comes to presentation. To put matter worse, my teaching demonstration is coming and I have no idea how I am going to teach. How will I have confidence when an outstanding student like me cannot speak English properly? Sometimes I feel so embarrassed when I am not able to express myself clearly. How am I suppose to pass a job interview if my speaking is this bad? How am I suppose to win a scholarship if I can’t express my idea clearly.

This is my action plan:

I think I need to add up vocabulary into my repertoire by reading newspaper and other reading material. Moreover, I need to practice my speaking skill whenever opportunity arises.

Jobs never lost sight of human nature

The genius of Steve Jobs was the genius of a kitchen toaster.

Following his death Wednesday, the Apple co-founder and CEO was lauded as a technological seer, a marketing maestro and a cultural icon - a man who showed us the digital future, then delivered it to our desktops, laps and pockets.

More than once, Jobs was likened to a prophet - or maybe just a magician, albeit one in mom jeans and a black turtleneck - for giving us what we wanted before we knew we wanted it.

Only that assessment isn’t quite accurate.

A small, sleek music player. A cellphone-cum-computer. A touch-screen media tablet. These things were new. But the human needs and desires they answered?

Anything but.

Such was the real genius of Jobs: He never lost sight of what people always have wanted in the first place.
Again, consider the average kitchen toaster.

A toaster could come equipped with a thermometer. It could have a window on the side, the better to see just how brown one’s bread has become at any given moment. It could have a host of different buttons for bagels, wheat bread, English muffins, or built-in butter and jelly dispensers, like the soap shooters in a car wash.
A toaster has none of these things.

A toaster has a single button. You press it. In goes bread. Out comes toast. Because a toaster isn’t about the physical and chemical process of cooking bread. Nor is it about the engineering puzzle of linking household electrical current to a heating element to a spring-loaded timer. A toaster isn’t about being a toaster at all.
A toaster is about eating. About feeling hungry, and then feeling satiated.

This is what Jobs grasped, intuitively. This is what made him a technology savant.
From campfires to toasters to French toast recipes downloaded and displayed on an iPad, technological advances have never been - and will never be, unless Skynet from “The Terminator” becomes self-aware - ends in themselves. The latest, greatest gizmos, the new new things, are still simply tools - instrumental goods that facilitate our wants and needs.

People want results, not process.

They want to benefit from technology, not hands-on vocational training in its use.

They want to eat toast, not spend time thinking about the nuances of toast-making.

The most successful electronic devices shepherded and championed by Jobs invariably embodied this fundamental insight.

Did iPods have great television commercials? Yes. Do iPhones look sleek and shiny? Of course. Under JobsApple masterfully marketed both its intangible brand and tangible goods, pulling off the neat trick of making simple, people-pleasing mass communication products seem hip and individualized. Sexy, even.
Still, slick persuasion isn’t what made the company successful or Jobs revered.

The iPod worked because it, well, worked. Press a button. Move our thumbs. Out comes music. Forget the sophisticated circuitry inside. Never mind the engineering wherewithal it took to design and build them. The iPod was a smash because it allows us to listen to our favorite tracks with an absolute minimum of futzing around.
The same way an iPhone lets us look up a takeout joint, call in a dinner order and map a route there.
The same way an iPad lets us watch television shows on boring cross-country flights.

Go back to Apple’s commercials. What do we see? Silhouettes dancing. Children using iPads to finish homework assignments. The things we can actually do with the company’s products.

As Jobs once said, design isn’t just how a device looks and feels. It’s how the device functions. How quickly and easily it enables our desires.

In 2006, Microsoft released an ill-fated digital music player, the Zune. Meant to be an iPod competitor - if not an outright iPod-killer - the Zune allowed users to wirelessly share songs with each other, a supposed community-building feature the iPod lacked.

Jobs was unimpressed.

“It takes forever,” he told Newsweek. “By the time you’ve gone through all that, the girl’s got up and left! You’re much better off to take one of your earbuds out and put it in her ear. Then you’re connected with about two feet of headphone cable.”

Jobs was right. He was almost always right.

Like the institutions of modern life - for instance, government - modern technology is complex. Dauntingly so. It requires specialized knowledge. Too often, it becomes inaccessible, an end in itself, no longer a convenient means to rectifying the problem it was created to solve.

Jobs understood this. He avoided this trap. He wasn’t a brilliant engineer, a representative of the machines, an oracle from a “Jetsons” future. He was a brilliant student of human nature, a throwback to our unchanging past. And that’s why he’ll be missed. He knew what we wanted. He knew the toaster is really about toast.

US Unemployment Rate Falls to its Lowest Rate in 3 Years

The Great Recession in America ended in 2009. However, with 9.0% unemployment rate in October 2011 and over $15 trillion in national debt, recovery for America is still a long way to go.

Unexpectedly, the unemployment rate significantly drops to 8.6% in November which is the lowest rate in almost 3 years. This is very good news for the Obama’s administration, as it can please voters for this upcoming 2012 election.

According to CNN Money, there are two reasons to explain this dramatic drop. Firstly, America creates more jobs with 120 000 jobs added. Secondly, many people gave up on their job search which means they are no longer judged as unemployed.

If America wants its unemployment rate to return to the state before the Great Recession, it needs to create over 11 million jobs for the unemployed and fresh graduates. Based on its current job creation pace, it is safe to say that 10 more years are needed. (Radio France International)

The cicada, the praying mantis and the sparrow

The prince of Wu decided to attack the state of Chu. He gave a stern warning to his subjects that anyone who raised objections would be put to death.

One of his stewards wanted to protest, but dared not. Instead, he took a catapult and pellets and wandered in the back courtyeard until his clothes were wet with dew. He did this for three mornings.

Come here, ordered the prince. " What are you doing to make your clothes wet with dew ?"

" There is a tree in the garden, " replied the steward, and on it there is a cicada. This cicada perches up there, chirping away and drinking the dew, not knowing that there is a praying mantis behind it. And the praying mantis leans forward, raising its forelegs to catch the cicada, not knowing that there is a sparrow beside it. The sparrow, again, cranes its neck to peck at the praying mantis, not knowing that there is someone with a catapult waiting below. These three small creatures are so eager to profit by something directly in front of them that they fail to realize the danger behind.

" Well said, " replied the prince and he gave up his plan of invasion.

Love or Crush? The Sooner You Know, The Better

Infatuation, sympathy, or lust are sometimes called love, but all these feelings tend to change quickly because there’s something selfish about each of them. What changes is the love for something, and if this something changes, feelings change too. A man who likes his girlfriend because she has a beautiful face and body may find his feelings toward her change in 20 or 30 years if the girl loses her beauty. A girl who meets a wealthy man and wants to be with him may fall out of love if his financial situation changes one day. Such love seeks comfort and if there is none, it’s gone. This love tries to avoid life’s hardships and suffering. Of course, when we get married, we don’t think about suffering and hardships, but if something goes wrong, a truly loving person’s feelings don’t get weak—they get stronger.

Infatuation isn’t the first stage of love, but a different feeling and emotion all together. Both feelings have their own laws of development and may appear to be alike. Crushes that never evolve into real love are numerous, and love may sparkle without infatuation. Love takes time; infatuation is hasty. Love grows gradually, while infatuation hits people out of the blue. In fact, you never truly know what a person is like after seeing him or her just a couple of times. Most people wear masks, and their perfect manners impress us. Trying to be nice and pleasant, people skillfully control their anger and irritation, and it often takes years to really get to know someone well. While dating, some people conceal their true natures and hide their real characters.

Infatuation often comes to an end as suddenly as it starts if there’s no sex involved. Sex complicates emotional reactions, and people often maintain a relationship not because they feel connected to each other, but because they feel great in bed.

A bride and a groom promise each other on their wedding day to be together “from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do us part." God compares his love to the love of the bride and the groom which is deep and inseparable.

The Song of Songs book says, “Love is as strong as death.” Why is love compared to death? Because you die for others if there’s love for one in your heart. You belong to this person, and there can be no feelings of infatuation or any feelings for others. Love is as constructive and positive as kindness, mercy and sympathy and real love doesn’t lead to suffering, depression or suicide.

Love is a dual feeling, and it can’t exist without physical attraction. If love is real, common sense always controls emotions. Love gives people a feeling of safety, confidence and trust. Love isn’t all-absorbing and doesn’t destroy interest in other things. Love survives any separation or quarrel and gets stronger. The love of a man and a woman is always reciprocal. If it is not, then it’s infatuation, not love. Reciprocity is as vital to love as water is to a plant: it can’t grow and regenerate without it. Love positively influences human nature, and opens up the best qualities in it. It fills people with energy, sets goals and motivates people to live. Love encourages creativity, development and personal growth. It increases self-esteem and self-confidence. Love drives people to success and teaches them to manage their lives wisely and not to waste time. With love, life makes sense. Love inspires people and keeps them focused on their goals.

Infatuation, on the other hand, is destructive and introduces disorder into life. Love is aware of human flaws while infatuation is blind to them. Love helps one reveal wonderful qualities in the person he or she loves and build a relationship on the basis of them. If you tend to idealize a person, you ignore this person’s defects. Your infatuation dies as soon as the person disappears. As the proverb goes, “out of sight, out of mind;” infatuation is based on physical attraction and a couple of qualities, and if your relationship loses spontaneity, your interest quickly fades away. Infatuation can’t survive the challenge of time. Love brings order into physical relations, while infatuation abuses them. Love creates certainty; infatuation creates doubts.

If you really love, you must feel a growing confidence. If you analyze your relationship and feel it’s only a crush, don’t break it off immediately; take your time because you can be mistaken. Sometimes infatuation evolves into a genuine love, but if you rush into something, you may never know. So enjoy your relationships and try to find out if you are mistaking love for infatuation.

30 Things to Stop Doing to Yourself

30 Things to Stop Doing to Yourself
When you stop chasing the wrong things you give
the right things a chance to catch you.
Source: http://www.marcandangel.com/2011/12/11/30-things-to-stop-doing-to-yourself/

As Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”  Nothing could be closer to the truth.  But before you can begin this process of transformation you have to stop doing the things that have been holding you back.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
  1. Stop spending time with the wrong people. – Life is too short to spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you.  If someone wants you in their life, they’ll make room for you.  You shouldn’t have to fight for a spot.  Never, ever insist yourself to someone who continuously overlooks your worth.  And remember, it’s not the people that stand by your side when you’re at your best, but the ones who stand beside you when you’re at your worst that are your true friends.
  2. Stop running from your problems. – Face them head on.  No, it won’t be easy.  There is no person in the world capable of flawlessly handling every punch thrown at them.  We aren’t supposed to be able to instantly solve problems.  That’s not how we’re made.  In fact, we’re made to get upset, sad, hurt, stumble and fall.  Because that’s the whole purpose of living – to face problems, learn, adapt, and solve them over the course of time.  This is what ultimately molds us into the person we become.
  3. Stop lying to yourself. – You can lie to anyone else in the world, but you can’t lie to yourself.  Our lives improve only when we take chances, and the first and most difficult chance we can take is to be honest with ourselves.  Read The Road Less Traveled.
  4. Stop putting your own needs on the back burner. – The most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too.  Yes, help others; but help yourself too.  If there was ever a moment to follow your passion and do something that matters to you, that moment is now.
  5. Stop trying to be someone you’re not. – One of the greatest challenges in life is being yourself in a world that’s trying to make you like everyone else.  Someone will always be prettier, someone will always be smarter, someone will always be younger, but they will never be you.  Don’t change so people will like you.  Be yourself and the right people will love the real you.
  6. Stop trying to hold onto the past. – You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading your last one.
  7. Stop being scared to make a mistake. – Doing something and getting it wrong is at least ten times more productive than doing nothing.  Every success has a trail of failures behind it, and every failure is leading towards success.  You end up regretting the things you did NOT do far more than the things you did.
  8. Stop berating yourself for old mistakes. – We may love the wrong person and cry about the wrong things, but no matter how things go wrong, one thing is for sure, mistakes help us find the person and things that are right for us.  We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past.  But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.  Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for a moment that is yet to come.
  9. Stop trying to buy happiness. – Many of the things we desire are expensive.  But the truth is, the things that really satisfy us are totally free – love, laughter and working on our passions.
  10. Stop exclusively looking to others for happiness. – If you’re not happy with who you are on the inside, you won’t be happy in a long-term relationship with anyone else either.  You have to create stability in your own life first before you can share it with someone else.  Read Stumbling on Happiness.
  11. Stop being idle. – Don’t think too much or you’ll create a problem that wasn’t even there in the first place.  Evaluate situations and take decisive action.  You cannot change what you refuse to confront.  Making progress involves risk.  Period!  You can’t make it to second base with your foot on first.
  12. Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises.  Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.
  13. Stop getting involved in relationships for the wrong reasons. – Relationships must be chosen wisely.  It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company.  There’s no need to rush.  If something is meant to be, it will happen – in the right time, with the right person, and for the best reason. Fall in love when you’re ready, not when you’re lonely.
  14. Stop rejecting new relationships just because old ones didn’t work. – In life you’ll realize that there is a purpose for everyone you meet.  Some will test you, some will use you and some will teach you.  But most importantly, some will bring out the best in you.
  15. Stop trying to compete against everyone else. – Don’t worry about what others are doing better than you.  Concentrate on beating your own records every day.  Success is a battle between YOU and YOURSELF only.
  16. Stop being jealous of others. – Jealousy is the art of counting someone else’s blessings instead of your own.  Ask yourself this:  “What’s something I have that everyone wants?”
  17. Stop complaining and feeling sorry for yourself. – Life’s curveballs are thrown for a reason – to shift your path in a direction that is meant for you.  You may not see or understand everything the moment it happens, and it may be tough.  But reflect back on those negative curveballs thrown at you in the past.  You’ll often see that eventually they led you to a better place, person, state of mind, or situation.  So smile!  Let everyone know that today you are a lot stronger than you were yesterday, and you will be.
  18. Stop holding grudges. – Don’t live your life with hate in your heart.  You will end up hurting yourself more than the people you hate.  Forgiveness is not saying, “What you did to me is okay.”  It is saying, “I’m not going to let what you did to me ruin my happiness forever.”  Forgiveness is the answer… let go, find peace, liberate yourself!  And remember, forgiveness is not just for other people, it’s for you too.  If you must, forgive yourself, move on and try to do better next time.
  19. Stop letting others bring you down to their level. – Refuse to lower your standards to accommodate those who refuse to raise theirs.
  20. Stop wasting time explaining yourself to others. – Your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it anyway.  Just do what you know in your heart is right.
  21. Stop doing the same things over and over without taking a break. – The time to take a deep breath is when you don’t have time for it.  If you keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting what you’re getting.  Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly.
  22. Stop overlooking the beauty of small moments. – Enjoy the little things, because one day you may look back and discover they were the big things.  The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.
  23. Stop trying to make things perfect. – The real world doesn’t reward perfectionists, it rewards people who get things done.  Read Getting Things Done.
  24. Stop following the path of least resistance. – Life is not easy, especially when you plan on achieving something worthwhile.  Don’t take the easy way out.  Do something extraordinary.
  25. Stop acting like everything is fine if it isn’t. – It’s okay to fall apart for a little while.  You don’t always have to pretend to be strong, and there is no need to constantly prove that everything is going well.  You shouldn’t be concerned with what other people are thinking either – cry if you need to – it’s healthy to shed your tears.  The sooner you do, the sooner you will be able to smile again.
  26. Stop blaming others for your troubles. – The extent to which you can achieve your dreams depends on the extent to which you take responsibility for your life.  When you blame others for what you’re going through, you deny responsibility – you give others power over that part of your life.
  27. Stop trying to be everything to everyone. – Doing so is impossible, and trying will only burn you out.  But making one person smile CAN change the world.  Maybe not the whole world, but their world.  So narrow your focus.
  28. Stop worrying so much. – Worry will not strip tomorrow of its burdens, it will strip today of its joy.  One way to check if something is worth mulling over is to ask yourself this question: “Will this matter in one year’s time?  Three years?  Five years?”  If not, then it’s not worth worrying about.
  29. Stop focusing on what you don’t want to happen. – Focus on what you do want to happen.  Positive thinking is at the forefront of every great success story.  If you awake every morning with the thought that something wonderful will happen in your life today, and you pay close attention, you’ll often find that you’re right.
  30. Stop being ungrateful. – No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life.  Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.  Instead of thinking about what you’re missing, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is missing.

HEALTH FACT - DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:
Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.
METHOD OF TREATMENT
1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water
2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minute
3.. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.
4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours
5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.
6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.
The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:
1. High Blood Pressure (30 days)
2. Gastric (10 days)
3. Diabetes (30 days)
4. Constipation (10 days)
5. Cancer (180 days)
6. TB (90 days)
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwards – daily..
This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times.
It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life. Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.
This makes sense .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals ..not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...
